Blemish + Age Defense serum improves not only breakouts, but also irregular pigmentation and fine lines. 

Suitable for oily, breakout prone skin. 

Avoid in non-oily, sensitive and dry skin !

How to use: 

• Cleanse the skin before applying product
• Apply to the entire affected area in the evening (or if your skin is very oily, morning and evening)
• Gradually taper in, as tolerated (might be slightly irritating if started too quickly)
• If stinging/flaking occurs, wait for a few days and then slowly re-start  
• Adjust usage to tolerance. If only tolerated every other evening, use a simple oil-free moisturiser in between
• In very oily skin, use only this serum, no moisturiser needed.
  However, if your skin feels dry and tight and you would like to apply a moisturiser on top, you could use the Triacneal cream (Avene) on top of this serum 
• Avoid this serum in non-oily skin! In non-oily, but still breakout prone skin, I would recommend using Triacneal cream instead

Benefits: 

This is a very active serum to treat adult acne and skin surface signs of ageing in patients with oily skin. Its formulation combines 2% dioic acid with a mix of alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids (0,3% LHA, 1.5% salicylic acid, 3,5% glycolic acid, 05% citric acid), designed to prevent the formation of acne, minimize hyperpigmentation, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.

The ingredients reduce excess sebum production, exfoliate the skin and clear clogged pores thus reducing 'congested' skin appearance, reduce acne causing bacteria P. acnes, help to reduce fine lines and prevent hyperpigmentation.
