This is a milder version of my favorite Dr Sebagh Deep Exfoliating Mask. This version is more suited for dry skin. But it  still exfoliates your skin effectively, helping to accelerate cell turnover which becomes more sluggish as we age.  This mask also has the added benefit of azalaic acid, an ingredient I often prescribe in higher concentrations as a medicated cream to treat irregular pigmentation and spots. 

Suitable for dry skin.

For normal, combination and oily skin, use Dr Sebagh Deep Exfoliating Mask.

Warning:

• Please carry out a trial patch test behind your ear and leave for 10 minutes before first facial use 
• Not suited for eczema-prone skin
• If the stinging is too uncomfortable, remove straight away. 
• Do not use if you are allergic to lanolin (wool wax)

How to use:

• Use once or twice weekly
• Massage into clean dry skin of the face, neck and chest. Leave for 5 to 10 minutes (you might feel some tingling or stinging), then thoroughly rinse with warm water. Finish off with one last rinse of cold water.

Benefits:

As we age, natural cell turnover slows down making our skin look dull and rough. Exfoliation helps to accelerate cell turnover and make your skin look smoother, brighter and more glowing. This mask combines lactic acid (an AHA) with other exfoliating ingredients.

Although regular exfoliation is important, we should never overdo it - once or twice per week is sufficient. Remember that exfolitation removes natural antioxidants from the skin, so it's important to apply a good antioxidant serum directly after rinsing off any exfoliation product. This mask also contains azelaic acid, an ingredient well-known to dermatologists - we prescribe it in higher-strength creams to treat patients with acne, rosacea and pigmentation problems.

A little bit of palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 is a small anti-ageing bonus.
