It's all too easy to prioritise your face and neglect your body skin. But even if your body skin is fairly uncomplicated and doesn't feel too oily or dry, I still recommend daily applications of a rehydrating, antioxidant emollient to keep the skin in prime condition and avoid future problems. The basic routine for 'normal' skin is as for dry skin. Avoid long, hot showers and baths, restrict shower gel to odour zones such as armpits, genitals and feet, while going lightly over legs, arms and tummy which simply don't need lathering. Immediately after your bath or shower, moisturise liberally to prevent further moisture loss and keep your skin soft, supple and comfortable.
