Oily Skin
Although oily skin is primarily a facial problem, excessive sebum production can occur on your back, shoulders and chest. If your skin is oily here, make sure you avoid lipid-rich body formulations which can lead to breakouts. Simply apply your rehydrating body lotion to non acne-prone areas of your body such as the arms and legs. On oily, acne-prone skin areas, you could use facial skincare products designed for oily skin.
If you do already suffer from acne either on your body or your face, please see a dermatologist who will get you started on a medical treatment. Acne really is very straightforward to treat and should be caught early to prevent unsightly scarring.
